Proud holder of a Masters degree in tax law, Me Daigle has been focusing his practice on business and tax law since he was admitted to the Bar in 1997.

Having gained some experience with Revenu Québec, Me Daigle later opted for a private practice which has frequently brought him before the Court of Québec and the Tax Court of Canada (where he files appeals on matters related to taxes), as well as Québec’s Court of Appel and the Federal Court of Appeal.

Me Daigle also takes charge of disputes involving shareholders and of related types of litigation (such as estate law, bankruptcy and insolvency, and injunctions centered on non-competition). Such incidental cases have made him perfectly familiar with specialized jurisdictions (including the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF)), administrative courts, and disciplinary committees.

Over the years, Me Daigle has acted as a sessional instruction with the University of Sherbrooke and the University of Québec in Trois-Rivières (UQTR), and also had the privilege of appearing as a visiting lecturer before several public and private institutions.

Admitted to the Bar of Québec in 2013, Me Fex joined the ranks of Daigle & Matte, avocats fiscalistes Inc. right after completing her professional internship with the firm.

Practicing mostly in the fields of civil and tax law (but also in a few related spheres such as bankruptcy and insolvency), Me Fex is often required to appear before courts of the trial and appellate levels. She was, in fact, called into action in several grand-scale cases, including the one pertaining to the presence of pyrrhotite all over the area.

Over the years, Me Fex has become exceptionnally skilled when it comes to filing appeals before the Court of Appeal of Québec, as well as leaves to appeal before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Me Fex frequently accepts assignments in corporate law, especially when they involve litigation or the drating of agreements. She also takes charge of financing procedures and has acquired a vast experience in the fields of securities and hypothecary rights.

She was recognized as one of the most proficient litigants to appear before the Superior Court of Québec from 2014 to 2016.

Having been awarded a Bachelor’s degree in law, Me Deschamps practiced civil and administrative litigation with a Montréal firm specialized in environmental law before bcoming, in 2018, a member of the Daigle & Matte, avocats fiscalistes Inc. family. While earning his Bachelor’s degree, he had the privilege of joining three (3) firms as an articling student in civil law (including Daigle & Matte, avocats fiscalistes Inc., in 2015).

Focusing his career on corporate law, Me Deschamps is often involved in the creation of corporations, partnerships, and trusts, and regularly drafts and reviews a wide variety of corporate and contractual documents. He also gained substantial experience in the field of business acquisitions, sales, and financing.

Last but not least, Me Deschamps manages a certain number of cases dealing with business disputes, bankruptcy, and insolvency, where he helps clients navigate the various stages of the judicial process.

Me Michèle Doucet joined the Daigle & Matte, avocats fiscalistes Inc. team in 2019, after having spent the last two (2) years of her Bachelor program and her professional internship earning and honing skills in civil and business law with a law firm based in Sherbrooke.

Before her admission into law school, Me Doucet earned a college diploma in legal methodology which allowed her to join a firm of notaries for a year and to earn basic skills in property and estate law.

A graduate of honors, Me Doucet received, at the end of her college program, the medal for academic excellence awarded by the Governor General of Canada. She has also earned the scholarship handed by the Honorable justice Danielle Côté. Upon completion of her Bachelor’s degree, she was awarded both the Albert-Leblanc medal and the Dean’s Reward.

Me Doucet frequently appears before the courts. Although her practice revolves mostly around civil and business litigation, she also manages a certain number of cases where her knowledge of other spheres of law (such as tax, bankruptcy, and insolvency) proves invaluable.

In addition to her law career, Me Doucet devotes some of her time to her community and sits on the board of directors of various charities.
